Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. We visited Rai Lay on our day trip to Charlotte, and I am so glad we did. Our family got the basil fried rice, red curry, pad thai, and beef pho. All of these dishes were excellent. We have gone to many thai places, but this is one of the best ones we have been to. Each dish had large portions and excellent flavor. Prices were great especially for Charlotte. Definitely would recommend to anyone in the area.

This was my first time here. The spring rolls and the drunken noodles were my favorite dishes. The spring rolls were crispy without feeling greasy, and the drunken noodles had a great balance of flavor. Our food came out much faster than I expected, and the staff was friendly throughout our visit. The only downside was that the restaurant felt quite warm inside. Iβm not sure if the air conditioning wasnβt working properly.

I am an out of town visitor. This restaurant smelt great! I went in and asked the server what his favorite thing on the menu is- he said The Vietnamese Fried Rice. So I ordered it. Aside from the two shrimp not in this picture and the MAYBE two shards of chicken and four tiny slivers of sausage - there was nothing in here whatsoever. No vegetables- nothing. If this is his FAVORITE thing on the menu they are in trouble. If he is assuming that someone who is not Thai is asking him about the best thing on the menu because they nothing about Thai food - then they need to put someone else on the front desk. I paid $23 dollars for old rice - maybe at least throw some fish sauce into it to give it flavor?

Repeat customer here. The fresh/summer rolls, Thai iced tea and Thai basil were absolutely delicious, with a gorgeous presentation. It was a wonderful mid-week treat!
